They absolutely do that. They are christian. I'm presuming you're a christian, and the only reason you don't think they are is because you don't want to be grouped in with them.

I'm not saying they aren't assholes. They are. But assholes who believe in christ are christian.

I'm at work, but in the WBC FAQ they address A and B complete with biblical references.

They interpret the bible differently than you do, and differently than mainstream America does. But they still think Jesus is god, and they still follow christ. That makes them christian.

How do you know that? You can't know whether someone 'actually believes' or whether it's all a show.

In fact, that definition I linked to was smart enough to know that. Hence, 'professing belief' and not 'believing'.

Short answer-no. I understand you're position against Christianity and religion but no, those morons don't care about God or believe in him. They care about stirring up trouble and controversy and making millions off it.

All they are doing is 'spreading the word'. They do it in absolutely terrible taste and their interpretation of the bible differs from virtually everyone else, but they are preaching. And that's what they say they are doing as well.

We have no proof that this is all a scam, so you have to take them at their word.

I'm sure some are but when I think of the Taliban I don't automatically think Muslims, I think radical terrorists. That's an idiotic and short sighted view on life. When I think of Chinese people, I don't think of Panda Express.

Also, to your point I don't know the Quran, I don't think anywhere in there it talks about murdering innocents in the name of Alla. I'm sure any Muslim what tell you the same thing.

I wasn't trying to make a jackass out of you, but I do know what the Qu'ran states regarding anyone who doesn't believe in Allah, so I posted it.

It's all a matter of interpretation. The taliban interprets every word of the Qu'ran at literal, face value. Moderate Muslims ignore the unpleasant parts.

Likewise, the WBC interprets every word of the bible literally. Virtually every american christian ignores most of the prophets, the fire and brimstone, the stuff. Some more moderate christians ignore the homosexuality parts. It's all believing what you want to believe.

That doesn't make any of those people less devout. Someone isn't more or less muslim/christian depending on their interpretation.
