Barry Sanders 7.2 yards on average from scrimmage, Herschel Walker 5.4 yards from scrimmage. Barry Sanders had 46 TD's on 523 carries, Herschel Walker had 52 TD's on 994 carries.
It's fairly obvious who was the better college running back.

I'd have Cam and Tebow as my two QBs. Not sure if they are the "best", but a team with both of those guys could not possibly lose.
