Am I the only one that has a problem with

  • Having a celebrity President? Do your f'ing job and STFU Obama. You got re elected, now do something and quit showing your on camera. How about you fix the 8% unemployment rate instead of going on Opera? Why don't you work less for the unions and more for those that give their lives for this country? How about instead of going on David Letterman you create a budget since you haven't done that in 3.5 years? Why don't you hold people responsible for being ups instead of giving them welfare? Do your job Mr. "president."

    Public eye? So Oprah is acceptable as the public eye? David Letterman is acceptable as the public eye? I'm sorry, I though the POTUS should only be on CREDIBLE media outlets, forgive me. I didn't realize that the office of the POTUS had turned into a circus

    I agree that there should have been better candidates, but campaigning is always going to be a crappy situation. I don't think it's reasonable to expect the president not to go on tv for interviews when he's running for reelection. Also, I'm assuming more people watch Letterman so it makes more sense for him to be interviewed by him than by a news station imo.

    Bill Clinton didn't even go on all these TV shows. I don't want a celebrity as president, I want someone that will get shit done.     You are just nitpicking to nitpick. I have plenty of issues with everything he does, but this is nothing on the grand scale.

    The Morale of the Country is down and the President making appearances and remaining upbeat will help, believe it or not. If you put him in a bunker for a month and tell him not to make any public appearances until he is done, everyone panics and thinks the worst about the situation.
