Amari Cooper>Marquise Lee

  • Objective Bama poster. I think Cooper is every bit as good as Lee.

Don't allow "more opportunities" to catch passes in USC's offense to cloud your judgement. In 2010 Bama fans said Cam Newton couldn't throw. I watched his game film and my conclusion was that Newton had a great throwing motion and arm strength with good but improveable accuracy. Bama fans drew this conclusion because Cam led the SEC in rushing and they "assumed" he couldn't throw. Lack of opportunities doesn't = can't.

Go watch Cooper's film in 2012 and compare it to the film of Marqis Lee in 2011 & 2012. Tell me what Lee can do that Cooper can't? Also, Cooper is playing against much better defensive players in the SEC (see USC offensive players stats in college and then in the NFL.....especially Reggie Bush's yards per carry. Do the same for a few SEC players.)

    Cooper
-Gets less opportunities in Bama's predominantly rushing offense
    -Plays against better defenders.

Jabrill Peppers...More I watch, the more I'm convinced he is the best player in the 2014 class. Barring injury, he will do special things.

Not sure if being facetious.....I didn't say Cooper was >>>>>>......I think they are comparable...... Hard for me to say either is better as Lee has 1 additional year of experience.

I'm simply LMAO at folk saying Lee is infinitely better.......but I watch film and really look at this stuff in my spare time.

Lee is a great prospect but he ain't no Randy Moss type

I think Lee and Cooper can have careers comparable to "Big Game" Torry Holt.

Holt had a Heisman type season his last year at NC State. 88 rec, 1,604 yards, 16 TDs. BOSS!

    Play

So much failure in this post. Not even going to dissect it.

Cooper is a great looking prospect, but it's a little early to call him better than Lee.

I can agree with this, but all of the "not even close" and "Lee is a Moss type talent" is laughable.

    TylerDD

  • Agreed Tyler, Cooper is very good and maybe becomes better down the road

Neither of them are on Moss level, cause only Moss was ever on that level

  • Also, stats don't tell the whole story, but Cooper has 767 yards and 8 TD's in 13 games as a true frosh go to guy.

Lee had 1,143 and 11 TD's in 12 games as a true frosh playing second fiddle to Robert Woods.

    FIFY. Point taken.

By the way, he didn't even start five games and wasn't even really a target until White for hurt, then Bell got hurt.
