An SEC Team Won't Be In BCSNG**EDIT:A PART OF ESPN's AGENDA?**

  • Alabama and LSU aren't as good as our fanbases think and the conference is just too good from top-to-bottom. Kentucky and Miss State are about the same. Ole Miss will be better as will Florida,Tennessee and the Barn. Missouri will surprise and aTm is alright. Arkansas will be not as good, but still solid and LSU,Alabama,UGA,and USCe are just going to beat themselves up. There are going to be a bunch of upsets. The champion probably will have two losses at least.

It will be easy for a Big 12 team to go undefeated as should FSU with their schedule. Now that the B1G and PAC12 have championship games, a one-loss team could sneak in with a solid CCG win.

Just don't see it this year guys. The streak will end.

How do you know how good Bama & LSU are gonna be?

Losses are too great for both teams. They will be exposed during the crunch of the regular season. Neither are top two teams.

  • Could be right. More than likely are wrong.

Big 12 teams always slip up. FSU vastly overrated.

USC and Oregon will split if they have to play each other twice.

Probably 2 one loss teams in the BCSNC game. If I was betting one would be from the SEC.

Tell me which contender out there lost the least of amount of players, thus thrusting them to the BCSNC game?

It's not just about the number of players. It's talent and experience.

Agreed. I know this is gonna sound very homerish but there isn't a more talented team in the country than Alabama. LSU and USC are also loaded.

Bama is gonna to be heard to stop on offense and defense will be solid as most starters do have game experience. They could also lose a game or two if things don't go their way.

I don't know of any teams outside the SEC that have the talent to compete with an elite SEC team. There are no doubt some good teams out there but there isn't a team that is a real threat to end the SEC's run of dominance IMO.

This isn't 2010 all over again for Bama. We have way more experience than we did two years ago.

Will only have 2-3 guys on defense, which have little to no experience.

  • Its got to happen eventually. Seem about right though that the only way it will happen is the SEC teams beat each other and break the streak.

You just stated "its about talent and experience". Bama and LSU have both.

Only thing that's changed from 2010 until now is: 1). Missouri and A&M additions 2). East will improve somewhat 3). Arky won't have the best offensive mind in the conference.

The SEC beats each other up every year and this season is no different.

    How do you know?

Because it will be. LSU/UA/USCe/UGA are all 10-win capable teams. UT/UF/Arky/AU/Mizzou are all 8-9 capable teams. aTm/MSU are bowl eligible teams and UK and Ole miss are "ok,probably 4-5 win teams".

It's simple math that one team's one has to result in a loss for another team.

Not enough to compensate for tougher games this year.

The first 4 all won more than 10 last year in addition to Arkansas. The 8-9 guys are possibilities, but 2 of them will end up with 6 or 7 wins instead of 8-9. Ole Miss and UK will do well to get to 5 wins, IMO....and what about VANDY? No love I see!

I agree the league is better, but I think it has more to do with chance than anything else as far as a team not making it. If Bama gets past September undefeated, either Bama or LSU are in the game, IMO.

I don't know either. Alabama returns a NC MVP QB, one of the best OL's in the country. We've got proven RB's and TE's as well. As far as the defense, when as Saban ever not had a good defense? We have 2 out of 4 secondary players coming back, and a ton of other guy ls who have live, game experience. Stupid post is stupid. I mean, just by law of averages he's got a chance to be right because it's 2 teams versus the field. But not in contention? Laughable.

if this happens wonder if this could be a year a. small undefeated school like boise st finally gets their shot at a mnc? I know boise won't because they lost a lot but anyone know of a school that has a shot at going undefeated?

The SEC doesn't play "the whole conference". Bama's toughest games, by far, will be @ Arky and @ LSU. Everything else is just play well and avoid injuries.

As far as your quote about the Big 12 easily being undefeated. I strongly disagree. OU players are dropping like flies; UTa will be much improved; TCU will make quite a bit of noise; WV returns 8 on an explosive offense, which will win games in the Big 12. There will not be an undefeated team in the Big 12 by the end of the season.

FSU, on the other hand, does have a shot to go undefeated. However, they will play Clemson at home in September, but get VT in Blacksburg in November. They will have to beat VT twice in 4 weeks because of the ACCCG. Could happen, but I believe they split.
