  • Any rankings without LSU in the top ten is just plain stupid. They have as much talent as any team in the country. Do people not remember LSU beat ATM and pretty much beat Bama and Clemson and GAVE those games away.

    You lose a lot of talent

    Pretty much beating a team isn't the same as beating them. There are 60 minutes in a football game not 58.

    Les is always good for one loss on his own. Add that with the losses and it's easy to leave them out next year.

    I'm sure they'll eventually get the Bama coattail riding bump come preseason though.

  • Notre Dame had 29 Seniors on this year team so unless there schedule is really easy they are going to take a step back. More than likely out of the Top 10. Also LSU is losing a lot of great players so being out of the Top 10 is not that far off base. Think Texas A & M should be ranked higher at least Top 5. That team is for real.

    Disagree. LSU played more freshman than anybody in the country THIS year. Almost the entire offense is coming back. I seem to remember several teams recently being in the top 3 when they lost a ton of players. Even QB's so that argument don't work with me. Not a big deal, but I think it's quite premature to leave them out of the top ten. LSU beat ATM btw if you don't remember. Don't expect LSU's defense to drop off much next year and the O should be better.

    But there is always the Miles factor lol

    No you are stupid. I repeat. LSU played more freshman and sophomores than any team in the country this year so do not expect much of a drop even though it is fair to think think they will drop off some. Offense should be improved to make up the gap.

    Would love to see this list of 29 SR's everyone keeps mentioning. We lose 3 starters on D and everybody behind those starters being underclassman. On O we lose Eifert, Wood, Riddick, Cave, Golic, and Toma. Eifert, Cave, and Riddick will be hard to replace the rest not so much. You guys must be counting the bottom of the bench with us losing 29 SR's. Our 2 deep on offense is littered with youngsters. LSU is about to take a slide from its lofty perch. No depth on the DL and lots of questions in the DB, relying on FR is not an ingredient for success. Having Mett back in the pocket would scare the hell out of me and your offensive play calling is a mess. As long as Les continues to force his offensive strategy/ ideas on the offense questions will remain.

    LSU went 10-3 and finished #14. If there is "some drop off"....how do you plan on being Top 10?

    Fwiw, they could very well win it all, I'm EXPECTING them to lose more than 3 games, but I'm also fine with someone not EXPECTING them to finish in the Top 10. Definitely isn't a no-brainer.

    idk why people dont understand when you have an emotionally unstable teen girl coaching football, you will have a sporatic team. dabos first year ended way high then losing season in the ACcensoredC, then division title, then disappoint, chikfila national championship this year-- next year should be a bummer year. ass raped by WV in bowl they were supposed to dominate, beat up coon ass miles when nobody expected it.ad nauseum..........the only thing they've done consistently is get that ass tapped by SC
