And that's why I hate TJ Yeldon

  • .....because he is that damn good. Knew he would be and that's what hurt so bad with the flip. Congrats bama, he's gonna win the heisman before he graduates if he has any kind of line to run behind. Good win and I hate you...but I concede that you have a damn good football team. Also f u lsu for teasing us auburn fans like that

Don't forget fellow flipper Cyrus K blocking for him. Kidding aside, TJ is a great talent and we are definitely glad he made the wise choice to wear the Crimson.

No doubt. Before the A-day game, when I got my first glimpse of his skills, I thought that he was a spread-style, sweep back with some power but ran way too upright to be effective in Bama's pro-style attack. Now I realize he has a very strange set of skills that is very unusual for a guy 6'1 220. He almost runs the ball as though he's a WR on a screen play. Very smooth. Very little wasted motion. Incredible vison. I still think he needs to pack on about another 5-10lbs and be a little more difficult to bring down with arm tackles, but the guy has surpassed all my expectations of what he could do. He's already ran for more yardage than Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram did their freshman years, I believe (they both ran for 700-800 yards...Yeldon's somewhere in the 725 range after tonight).

  • Yeldon's going to be a great one, but his numbers look better for one reason because of 2 factors, IMO. The OL is better than either Ingram or Richardson had their freshman years and that he is not stuck behind another back that has separated himself as the #1 guy.

I think Yeldon will be better than Ingram, but I have a hard time believing that he will be better than Trent. If he is, good Lord! He will have many oppurtunitues than either had, IMO though.

  • As that drive was happening..I said please..let AJ throw a bomb TD pass, let Edward break a long run..just please don't let it be Yeldon.

It was Yeldon, and yes, I was butthurt.

  • The Auburn fans on this board are so much better than the ones on the Rivals board. I hope the Bama fans can be the same.
