Adobe is the one doing this, not Android/Google. They are stopping development. They are basically saying html5 is the future and waving the white flag.

I've had Android for some odd years and finally switched to iPhone earlier this year and I personally love my iPhone.
Couldn't be happier. So glad I finally switched.

After having Android, I will never go back to a phone that puts serious limits on what you can do. Android all the way.
BTW, Apple has never supported Flash, so your decision is a little mind numbingly ironic.
