Coaches do this all the time, they got a 5 star at the last minute who wanted to enroll early and they still have his scholly for the fall..please tell me you would reject a five star and we can start discussing

Thank you for being the voice of reason. Even as a Trojan, I'm not the biggest fan of Kiffin and have never really defended him when scrutinized by the public. However, you can't blame Kiffin for this latest incident. A senior football player at USC didn't have enough credits/units to graduate, resulting in one less EE spot. Unfortunately, Fitts was the odd man out.

By the way, Fitts suffered two wrists injuries, neither of which was reported to the USC coaching staff. Basically, he didn't display integrity and honesty, yet he has the audacity to insinuate that the USC coaches are shady.

People are just looking for any reason to hate Kiffin.

They should be truthful then and explain to them that they want them on campus and a scholarship is available unless one of the higher ranked prospects they are recruiting commits and then you are SOL.

You're wasting your time with these tiny brains...Lane has seriously underperformed last season, but do you wonder why they care, or keep bringing up all his failings?

Basically, Lane had zero respect for the SEC, it's coaches, fans and tradition...and he showed it every way he could. Not a nice thing to do, but they're not arrogant or confident enough to just move on. Paper tigers.

The overall prestige, ranking, wealth and networking of the University of Southern California has zero to do with what happens on a football field.

When we fail, we do so in epic proportions - better than anyone else! You just have to laugh, and move on.

I'm curious as to why you guys -- all of whom hate USC (don't even try to deny it) -- care so much about who our coach is. If you think Lane Kiffin is such a deplorable coach, shouldn't you guys be ecstatic that we're "stuck" with him? It doesn't make sense how you guys want him fired.

All I'm saying is that Kiffin isn't in the wrong in this particular situation.

The guy that wrote that article has shit for brains. You would think he would do enough research to get the real reason for the last minute change correct. It was totally out of the coach's hands.
