I was at a philosophy club meeting this afternoon, and we discussed libertarianism and the idea of spontaneous order. As I understand it, the idea behind libertarianism is that social and 'political' (if you can call it that) order should come from the natural tendency that people have to create order. My question is, why do libertarians have any faith in us to do that? And in what way is this idea diffrent than the constitution and the republic that it created. That doesn't seem like it was a dictated order. It seems to me that a libertarian government would find its way back inside one of the current political sturctures? Thoughts?
