I do and I think ND has a chance to win if Kelly plans it right

according to most on tbb ND sucks and they also say we would be the 6th best team in the SEC blank

  • I see it as a 21-17 type game. Could really go either way. Both Alabama and Notre Dame do everything well and it's a solid matchup.

  • Anything can happen, especially after 5 and 6 weeks since their last games. Alabama could control the game, IMO, but I think ND's defense is too good for it to get out of hand. Right now, I'm saying 27-17.

    BetterOff

  • I believe it will be a close game until the end. I say it that way because I think this game will come down to whoever imposes their will on the other team's defense. Late in the game the team that does that could stretch the lead out a little to make the final score not representative of a close game, possibly ending in a 10-13 point win for a team.

I am hoping ND will impose their will on Bama's stout defense and that our front 7 can handle the task of the best O-Line in college football. All tough tasks (possibly the toughest all season), but closing their eyes and wishing they were gone won't get it done.

ND doesn't suck. What's wrong with being the 6th best team in the SEC? you'd still be a top 10 team. thumbsup

Why would the best team in the SEC wanna trade with USCe? I was saying, if I were ND I wouldn't take it as an insult. The SEC is just better than everyone else.

  • It's going to be a hell of a game, no way the spread should be 10 points: I think it will come down to the last drive..

I hear what you are saying but being sixth best is not something I strive for.

I know, I'm just picking at you. It's gonna be a fun game. Always read about ND/Bama game's but never experienced one in my life. The ultimate blue blood throwdown IYAM.

  • Well, both squads have great defenses. However, Alabama also features a strong offense and good special teams. ND is o.k. offensively and doesn't pose much of a threat in the return game. Definitely looks like an uphill struggle for Notre Dame; I just don't see how they score outside of some TOs that set them up in good field position.

The Irish have been great at getting INTs, but Bama's thrown 3 all season. Though Bama has had some fumble problems (12 in 13 games), ND has only recovered 7 fumbles on the year.

I think it'll be a close game for the first 2 and a half quarters, maybe something liker 13-6 Bama, before a TD puts the Tide up 2 scores. Something like 23-9, or 24-13 Alabama sounds about right.

Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Yardage wise they are basically equal. Both offenses run and pass for over 200 yards a game. I think Bama averages 13-15 yards more a game. Now if you said something about ND's red zone scoring then I would have agreed with you. ND can move the ball. They have a problem scoring TD's. One has to look no further than the USC game.

  • Other than the Oklahoma game .. I can't think of a game where I just sat back and said "dang.. That is a pretty good team". If Notre Dame plays like they did against Michigan, Purdue, Pitt, or BYU ... It could get ugly

    JA4225

  • LSU, Texas A&M, and Georgia are the only 3 good teams bammer has played all year and they struggled in all three games. Unless Notre Dame gets stage fright and turns the ball over multiple times, I doubt bammer will kill them. Not even sure bammer will beat them

Look at what you just said and mesh it with what JA said above you.

We struggled against 3 top 10 schools going 2-1.

They struggled against 4 teams that Mississippi State would tear apart.

Not saying anything other than your argument is very weak.
