To be honest, I don't know. I would imagine using Steen to double because they love pulling Warmack. Steen is a very, very good run blocker. He will play on Sundays like the rest of them, but he is the least heralded of the bunch. Pretty good chance Nix won't get doubled a lot unless he's just blowing everything up.

I just don't anyway in which Everett Golson doesn't struggle mightily.
Bama's closest games came against A&M, LSU, and Georgia. Everyone of those teams has a QB far superior to Golson IMO.
Last years title game was prime example, only so far a great defense and a great run game can take you if your offense is one dimensional. Give Saban 6 weeks and he will have prepped his defense like crazy.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.

Lets clear up a couple misperceptions about this Bama team.
This team isn't near as dominant as last years. It's probably not as good, all around, as the 2009 title team.
This years defense is OVERRATED. Stats lie. They don't get off the field on 3rd and longs. Weak secondary due to slow safety reactions and our 2nd CB. Geno Smith has really stepped up though giving us extremely good play at boundary corner with Milliner(I believe that's right, CB1) and Star.
Our offense is very talented but AJ tightens up in big games this year and they don't protect the ball. In our 3 biggest games this year we have 2+ turnovers in each.
That's a recipe for disaster against a tough ND team. Take the points, bet ND money line and make bank. ND wins 23-21.

And if it weren't for his bad play in the majority of those two games (LSU and UGA) he wouldn't have had to make a play late. His erratic play leading to so many 3 and outs has killed our defense in big games as much as the opposing teams have. I'm not putting all the blame on him, but our D barely even got a rest against LSU and early in the TAMU game.

I've been wrong all season on ND and I'm taking a shot here that will probably be wrong once again.
Comparing the Michigan Bama game and Michigan ND game is the best way to predict IMO.
Bama manhandled Michigan in the trenches, ND did not. ND's defense is very good however so it will be a closer game than Bama vs. Michigan, but I don't see anyway ND comes out on top.
Bama 31 ND 13
JMO, don't kill me for it. ND has proven me wrong all year, probably happen again in January. That being said, Roll Tide!

come on now. I wouldn't take Mettenberg over Golson ever. UGA's QB was known to play poorly against good competition. One play that stands out was during the SECCG when he had a wide open receiver, CB was at least 2/3 feet behind him, for a TD and he severely underthrew the ball leading to a critical INT for Bama. Same play he had his clock cleaned on. Golson brings mobility and can turn nothing into something, by running or throwing.
Anybody believe Bama/ND is gonna be a
