I love Atlantis... the resort and casino itself is really cool. Nassau is a fun place and it is safe as long as you stay pretty much in the tourist haunts. Just don't get too drunk and do something stupid and you'll have an awesome time. If you ever get the chance, go there the week between Christmas and New Year for Junkanoo... that is one incredible island wide party.

Had a friend that got taken to the police station there. He hid coke inside his pants and they didn't find it. Finally let him out just in time for his flight back.

Some buddies and I went on a drunken adventure through Atlantis during our senior trip. We were staying at a different hotel down the street and went there after we got back from senor frogs one night, which was around 2-3 am. We got on top of the roof by using the employee elevators, and somehow managed to get inside the aquarium. We were feeding lion fishes and throwing lobsters into different fish tanks, all sorts of crazy stuff. I tried to go down the water slide that goes through the shark tank, but there was a metal gate closing off the hole to go down. Fun night.. wish I had taken pics..

Make sure you eat fried canuck and water slide. Great snorkeling and amazing beaches, prettiest place I've ever been in the Caribbean, and that says a lot
