Cute post but aren't you a little late on the Bama hate thing? We got used to that a long, long time ago. Bama, first Southern team to go to the Rose Bowl. Shocked all the pundits on winning that game. After our fourth win in '46, the Rose Bowl decided to lock in with the Big Ten. That was 66 years ago! Only Michigan and Ohio State have more Rose wins that Bama when considering the mighty Big Ten. Yep, I can see why we are hated. There was a time when we weren't and it didn't feel good. Seeing this post, reminds me of the good ole times. Back to back National Championships in '64 and '65. We go undefeated in '66 and the journalists couldn't stand it. So, they made Notre Dame and Michigan State co-champions because the tie between them was their only blemish. Few teams had a decade like Bama in the 70's. Then we put it on Miami in the Sugar Bowl after the '92 season. (They still haven't recovered from that beat down.) Then a long spell of people not hatin' us. Bummer! But now it feels like ole times are back. People hate us again! Thanks for the post! It's kinda like an affirmation that Bama's Back! I hope we keep up the reasons for your disgust. You may hate the "bandwagon crowd" the media who has little else to talk about, and the fact that it may become a long stretch in time before this Tidal Glacier completes its quest.

Alabama, USC, Michigan, Nebraska, Notre Dame, and Miami have all been hated at one time or another for success and bandwagon fanfare it goes with the turf. You can throw Oklahoma into the mix also.

I will just ask you to focus on 2014 and the first 4+1 playoff scenario, once things are won in a fairer system it wont be so bad unless you are an ignorant Barner.

Don't usually bother with these types of threads, but this morning, I'm wasting time till a few appointments... this thought comes to mind reading this thread...shouldn't y'all be thinking about your own team, and how you're going to compete this season, instead of looking at whatever program(s) is on top right now? Sounds a lot like fUCLA fans and their team...always looking across town at what USC is doing, and not focusing on their own team and program.

Hate for others over one game or sport, is such a waste, IMO. Is your identity as a university (or as is the case with too many on here, a conference) based on what happens on the football field?

Good luck to all this coming season, and that includes Bama, LSU, Michigan, etc., and whoever else happens to be on top this season. Respect all of you, but I care for only my team and how we fare. We win or lose on our own, don't care who we face in the end if we're one of the programs left standing.

I was OK w/ your initial post, but as you've continued my distaste for you has grown... and not because you hate on Bama. That honestly doesn't bother me. You bother me because you seem like a dude that would annoy me in real life. Well, that and the fact that I have to read what you write 3 times before I understand what you're trying to say.

You should be more upset with all of the English teachers that so utterly failed you throughout your childhood. Bama should be the least of your worries. I'd suggest possibly starting at 2nd grade in an English class. Similar to what Billy Madison did. Or maybe you can take an adult "English as a second language" class?? I'm just throwing out options... you can decide the best route to take.
