Says who? There's people that have told me legit ghost stories whom I trust with my life

Okay...what do they look like, then?

nope!

I had just turned 18. I had just graduated high school, and was wondering what I should do going forward. My parents had just built a new house on land that had never been occupied that my grandma inherited years ago.

My room was in the basement. Awesome furnished basement. My bedroom was off of the rec room. Big TV, Foosball table that cost around $800, pool table, ping pong.. I was living the life before I had to move out and make something of myself.

It was around 7pm, and still plenty of daylight out. There were french doors that led outside. I went downstairs to get something out of my room. When I was heading back toward the stairs, I saw him. He was in his dress uniform. He was obviously Army. He was decorated with a lot of ribbons and medals. He had sword sheathed, and had a gray beard. He was obviously WWII era or before. I looked at him, he looked at me and took a step forward. I was frozen. Maybe it was fear, maybe it was shear shock that had me frozen. He then went to raise his hand, and at that moment I bolted up the stairs. I didn't tell anyone what I saw for a long time.

The first person I decided to tell was my grandma. She then tells me that about 30 yards into the trees where our yard ended, there was a very small graveyard. There was a plane crash at that spot during WWII, and they out up the headstones of those deceased. I walked back there, and sure enough I found the grave site.

3 days after this happened, I went and joined the military. Something I hadn't even pondered before. I don't think ghosts are hostile. I think this one helped me figure out what I wanted to do.

Call me crazy, I don't care. I know my life would likely be much different if I had never seen him.

I believe, but never saw one. Don't know how I'd react.

Same here. I've heard stories from very credible people who had no reason or nothing to gain from making it up. I also believe mounties story. I have experienced things, but never actually saw a ghost or spirit. So yes, I believe that ghosts & spirits are real.

Every time we stay at my grandmothers house visiting my daughter says my greatgrandmother is there. She has been dead since 93.

I'm open to the idea that they are real, but not positive if they do.

You're telling me. My grandmother says sometimes she can look in the mirror and she sees her too. My grandmother is very religious. We have to sleep with a light on in the room we sleep in. Btw my great grandmother died in that room. My daughter will say i scared and get all the way under the cover. It makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck every time im in that room.

I believe, never seen one. My best friends house is haunted though, all kinds of unexplained stuff, noises in the middle of the night, door knobs shaking(pretty creepy, happened in front of a lot of people.), etc.
