The Blue Board

The house I live in now is fine... no paranormal activity whatsoever in it in 4 years. But the two houses I grew up in did.

First house:
-- One night when I was about 6-7 we had company at the house and they were staying in my room, so I was sleeping on a pallet on the floor of my sister's room. Her door was open. During the night I saw a black figure about 6' tall peering over the door looking at me. He was wearing a cowboy hat and only the top part of his torso was over the doorway looking in. I didn't know what to do but stare at it. Years later as an adult my mom told me how when my sister was about 2 years old (before I was born) she screamed at the top of her lungs that a man was in her room and he had a horse.
--My mom would had coffee, sugar, and cake mixes disappear. One time she filled the coffee canister up after going to the grocery store but the next morning it was empty. She looked at her grocery store receipt and saw coffee on it and even saw the coffee package in the trash, but the coffee was gone. At night she would hear people talking and get on to my sister and I for not being asleep and she'd walk back to our rooms and we'd be asleep. She also smelled perfumes at times.
-- Our appliances would go crazy. The TV would mess up randomly. The CD player multi-disk tray would just spin when we turned it on. The refrigerator would shock you. The AC wouldn't turn off. The computer randomly turned off and on. One night I was going to play dominoes on Yahoo games (when we still had dial-up) I went to the kitchen to get some milk and cookies while my applet loaded. When I got back my user name had typed "Hello Everyone" into the game chat. It wasn't me! It freaked me out. But by far the craziest thing that happened was our oven turning itself on full blast on a couple of occasions. It almost set the house on fire. The entire house filled with smoke but luckily we were able to get to the oven in time. We had to keep it unplugged until Sears replaced it.

Second House:
-- I lived in an upstairs bedroom. It was nice up there. I had my bedroom and bathroom, and a living room with a fireplace and another spare room on the other side of the house. I'd often get a feeling that someone was watching me in my bedroom from the living room. And actually the very first time I was in the house I was cleaning the upstairs living room and my parents had gone to Home Depot. I got such an overwhelming sensation I was being watched that it creeped me out and I had to leave. But while in my room I'd get the sensation I was being watched. When I'd turn my head I'd see a little girl. About 6 years old with a white dress on and then she'd disappear. She'd never be in my room, but always in the upstairs living room. My mom would tell me how she heard footsteps throughout the day upstairs and think I was home only to find out I wasn't there. My mom does ceramics and has a ceramic shop in a shed in the backyard. One day she told me she was doing ceramics and looked up and saw someone looking out of one of the upstairs sliding glass doors. I instantly stopped her, went and wrote down my description of the little girl I had seen, and asked her to describe who she had seen. Wouldn't you know she described the same little girl.

not sure this is a ghost, but it was pretty freaking at first.

we have one of those little object/shape placement toys - and it talks. When you put the shape in, it says the shape name...so putting in the circle, it says "circle", and on and on...

One night at bedtime after my wife and i had put the kids to bed i was going around the house, turning off the lights that the kids had left on, etc... when i got to the playroom, i turned off the light passing by really quickly and as the lights go off i hear "Trapezoid" you can imagine, i'm 6' 3" 265 and i'm pretty much not afraid of anything, and i was frozen...

I flicked on the light, of course, nothing or no one there, but the game in the floor and the trapezoid piece was not in it's shape hole. I turned the lights off again and "Trapezoid" was spoken again. Yes, it's the same voice that the game has, so it wasn't anything external to the game...but the kicker to me is it won't do it for any of the other shapes, only Trapezoid. i know it has to be an electrical discharge of some sorts from the lights going off, but why wouldn't it do it for all the shapes?

crazy and freaking. we haven't done it in a while - kids are older now, so that game is put away. but i can get it out right now, take that piece out and turn the lights off/on and it would do it.

anyone got any clue on that?

I hope I do. I would very much like to see my brother one last time.

For sure. Thought I met a really awesome chick online, turned out to be a ghost. I swear, dude.

Actually that's what most of the "experts" on the paranormal recommend. Some ghost is haunting you, tell it to F off and most do. If they don't, I'd GTFO ASAP.

That's similar to me. I'm still not sure if it was my mind or what, but of my two experiences that one I wasn't really scared.

The indian woman I woke up to scared the shit out of me. The black figure just kinda stood there and walked out of the room.

I have no idea why it did. My mom goes to these auctions ALL THE TIME and buys ridiculous amounts of stuff. It's nice stuff, but she buys it literally just to buy it. So we have some of the furniture from the auctions in our house. When we told her about all of the stories (before the experience with my sister) she said this lady told her at an auction that she had weird experiences with some of the furniture she had gotten from the auctions. She told her to politely ask the "spirit" to leave you alone and they listen? I didn't believe in this ghost crap beforehand, especially believe they'll listen to you, but it seemed to work
