Anyone interested in a tBB Fantasy Basketball League?

  • I just signed up for my NBA Fantasy Money League.. I played last season and it was better than I had expected. Gives you something to do when Football is over.

    If anyone wants to give it a shot, just let me know in this thread and I'll get a league started. Don't join if you're not going actually play though.

  • You know what... I'm trying my hardest to like the NBA again. I've even adopted the Bobcats as my team. I think playing fantasy might just be the thing that will help me like it again. How much is it?

    You got it all wrong. I haven't liked the NBA for a long time because of the lack of teamwork(isolation instead) and rules put in place that makes a defense pretty much non-existent. A team sucking has no effect. I have lived in NC for 8 years, so the Bobcats are the logical choice. Was a Pacers fan growing up because of Reggie, but I haven't liked the NBA in over a decade, so I might as well start fresh.

    So again, how much is it?

  • It will be sometime this week if we can get 12 people together.. It doesn't matter what day we draft though.. The first Fantasy Game won't start until Monday of next week because the season starts tomorrow.. Long season so missing a few games won't mess anything up, plus, some key guys could get injured this week.

    As soon as we get 12 guys that want to join.. I'll send everyone invites to the league and we'll draft ASAP.

    You should be a Hornets fan.

    We might actually make the playoffs this season.. Very underrated.

    Anthony Davis has been KILLING it in preseason so far, dude is special.. Better on offense than I expected.

    Robin Lopez was a great, great pick up at Center. 7 footer who is very, very much improved and has looked very good.

    Eric Gordon is a bonafide stud/All-Star type player if he can actually stay HEALTHY, and he'll be starting in game 1 so that's great news.

    Picked up Ryan Anderson, 6'10'' PF who lead the league in 3 pointers last season and is a fantastic offense rebounder.

    Greivas Vasquez will be at PG.. 6'6'' PG who is very much improved.

    Austin Rivers, we'll see on him.

    Lot of good pieces for a team with the most cap space in the NBA.. Future is looking bright.

    Think I'm gonna stick with the Bobcats because of Kidd-Gilchrist. Kemba Walker, Ben Gordon, MKG. Not bad there. The only question is in the post. Haywood isn't exactly a world beater.

    Nuggets will be a fun team to watch this year. Lawson, Gallinari, Igoudala, and McGee. Faried is fun to watch too.
