Don't paint the rest of Canada with Vancouver's brush.
Same thing would probably happen for the Leafs, but only Vancouver has had a stupid riot like that. That is the 2nd time they have done that also, idiots they are.

But in all seriousness, Vancouver was an embarrassment, and Montreal always is an embarrassment. Most of Canada isn't so stupid.

Supporters groups from Eastern European and more specifically Balkan and Turkish soccer teams are probably the worst.
Their groups transcend the games.
Their groups also exercise as socialist or anarchist arms. Also unions.
They intimidate. They riot. They stone opposing fans,players and refs. They set fires. They chant racist,nationalist and ethnic slurs.
Some Eastern European supporters groups were front for gangs and dictators in the 90s.
Here is an example of Besitkas fans before a Champions league game.

Well like 25% of the people in Montreal speak English. But Montreal isn't nearly as bad as the rest of Quebec, but I'm ready to be back in Toronto I'll say that.
My original comment sprung from separatists, as many people in Quebec are trying to remove Quebec from Canada.
