How many more pieces of scientific, factual evidence do I need to post before people quit saying this. If you haven't read the scientific articles I posted, or at least read the summaries I put up for psubills, you should. There should no longer be a debate over whether it is a choice or not, because that idea has been scientifically disproven. Don't come back with "I believe this..." or "I believe that..." when there are mounds of evidence showing that that viewpoint is wrong. Evidence, not opposing opinion, but factual data that has been peer-reviewed and published. I'm not arguing with anybody about beliefs, because beliefs are for the unknown or unknowable. Once something has been scientifically proven or disproven, beliefs are no longer relevant - the data is relevant, and the data says that sexual preference/orientation is determined before a child (or animal for that matter) is ever born.

Why? Have you read the papers I posted on page 9? I just want to know why someone would deny something like this when it has been proven false. This is akin to stating that the sun revolves around the earth to me, I just don't understand how you could look at that kind of data and say that it is the opposite. The point of scientific inquiry is to take unknowns and make them knowns, which has been done for this subject. I can't understand how somebody could deny facts.

I would never harm a gay person or try and cut them down. But i would speak out against them, peacefully.

I’m not insinuating that you are any of those things. But IYO, why do gay people choose to be gay? Also in your experience, did you choose to be straight because that is what the Bible and God say’s or was it not a choice and you were just “born that way”.
