Watching "Into the Universe" again.
What are your thoughts on whether or not humans are the only sentient beings in the universe?
My thoughts are that the universe is so incomprehensible vast that conditions to spark life should have occurred at other places in the universe and evolved into more complex and ultimately "intelligent" organisms.
What are yours?

I think there is most likely another form of Humans on other planets throughout not only the universe but in our galaxy. It's insane to think about though.

Almost impossible for our one planet to be the only one without life. Whether or not that's intelligent life or not? I dont know.

I believe there is sentient life somewhere else. I would love to know about it before I died, although I think that's highly unlikely.

I feel neither way. The things I do not have a clue about I do not try to think I know one way or the other. It still interests me though at the same time I like to hear peoples thoughts as to why or why they do not think we are alone.

I rarely meet intelligent life on earth for that matter.

Exactly. When you factor in how extremely large the observable universe is that has potential for intelligent life in it and then consider that there is a very large portion we can't even observe, i don't think there is any way any sane, rational person can come to the conclusion that there is not other life in the universe.
