The term hipster originally came from well off white kids in who ended up adopting the culture of the black jazz movement, because they found their suburban existence lacking. Now its basically a blanket term for the people who listened to electronic music, wear skinny jeans, ride fixed-gear bikes, dress ironically, alternative lifestyles, etc. Basically they are despised because they represent inauthenticity choosing to adopt mannerisms and ideas for other groups to create their identity rather an having an "authentic/real" identity.
But honestly its hard to actually define what a "hipster" is people like to hate on them though. I mean you can say "that's a hipster" when you see what but actually defining them as a distinct is something I actually find difficult.

Never had an iphone so don't have anything to compare it to but it hasnt crashed yet. Battery life sucks but I don't really use it that often so it isn't an issue.
Aren't iPhone's for girls?
