Excuse me, but if a top 15 ranking isn't relevant I'd love to know what is... Don't even begin to say that every program hasn't had their "bad apples". I don't believe the steroid talk, but that was before my time, and I haven't done research on the topic.

Osborne was big on Prop 48 kids, not sure why that's overly terrible. At the time, it was an acceptable practice.
I do laugh at the generalization of his players. In his years as Head Coach, Osborne coached 80 Academic All-Americans. That's more than a number of athletic programs as a whole.

just to clarify... Osbourne only recruited a few prop-48 kids (Jared Tomich being on of them... he had a learning disability). And in 25 years he had two guys go to jail? That's what you point to? As for the steroids... No truth to that rumor... now there were some PEDs that weren't illegal at the time they might have used, but then again so did every other program.
