    Barton, based on your practice reports, Banner has had a very solid week of practice, arguably the best out of all the offensive lineman. Why does 247 have him rated so low? Is it due to his competition in Washington?

    He hasn't been very good the times we've seen him before.

  • Cyler Miles- Washington quarterback commit. I like this kid. Good passer and can run when he needs to. Nice little sprint on a quarterback sweep type of play.

    It is so interesting following all the sites. They are all watching the same practice, but have almost completely different opinions.

    Kennedy from Scout is praising McCarthy hasn't said a word about Armstead and is saying how much farther along Murphy is than Banner.

    McCarthy has been very good today too.

    Murphy is good. Banner's upside is through the roof.

    Yeah I don't know all the facts of the situation, but if it's similar to Jarvis Jones, it has to be frustrating for USC fans.

    He's looked better than I thought he would. Shown me better movement skills than I saw when I watched his game earlier this year.

    Don't think he's a game-changer but more of a solid starter.

    You're right on his role though. More of that shade technique kid than he is a penetrating 3.

    Athletic in his stance, quick feet, like the body quickness and he can mirror.

    I think we probably have SImmons too high. Tuerk and Banner we probably have too low though.

    I think Murphy is Stanford, I believe he was just accepted in. Stanford is going to have a huge OL Class this year with Murphy & Garnett as probables and Caspers, Davidson, Fanaika, and Shuler already committed.

    Simmons, Turek, Banner, Wheeler is a very nice OL class though and you could get Peat as well.

    Maybe, don't know on Peat, nebraska seems pretty strong here. We'll see, I think there's still a chance with Murphy, he does not say much.

    We (USC) will need all the quality OL we can get if reports are true that Armstead, Shittu, and McCarthy are heading to Cal. And that's on top of the DL class you guys brought in last year. Should be some nice trench battles in the years to come.
