  • Nothing on Bigelow!? He was outstanding and largely unblockable. Showed better than any DT there - including Vanderdoes - in my opinion. What say you?

I thought the East's oline did a good job blocking for Green and Henry. Lisle and Rodgers stood out to me. If you watch Henry's touchdown they pushed their guys all the way into the end zone. I noticed the run game was particularly effective when they pulled Lisle and ran behind him.

    Agree with you.

Both played and were good. This wasn't really a mention the top guys piece. I took a little different approach to this one. It gets boring reading the same old thing.

I have to get back to Nashville and meet with Gerry Hamilton and the rest about our final rankings, but I can't imagine a scenario where both Herron and White move up.

Any scenario where White doesn't move up is foolish IMO. Why would it be where both absolutely wouldn't move up. According to you Herron had a big week of practice and a solid game. I am confused by this statement.

  • What did you think of Greg Bryant today? He had some nice runs and was blocking very well.

  • I'm sorry but if u think Corey clement is better than derrick green and Greg bryant ur a joke and should quit ur job

  • Jeremy Johnson has no business being a four-star prospect. He proved today that he didn't belong. He looks awkward and clumsy, and compares more to Jared Lorenzen than Cam Newton. If I were Auburn fans, I'd be extremely nervous about the QB spot.

  • Pitt is very lucky. They very well may have landed 0 of the big 3 if the sanctions don't hit (obviously would have missed on Foster and Johnson). Boyd said PSU was at or near the top before the sanctions, but after it was done. Frustrating.

His statement didn't make sense. Herron and White balled the entire week of practice. Herron had a sack and White played a good game also and he can't see both moving up in the rankings? I guess since they didn't sign to Bama or SC then that reason is justified.

I "think" he typo'd - he meant to say that he can't see a scenario where they DON'T move up.

Herron deserves 5th star consideration - and
White deserves a fifth star without question. In a game full of playmakers - he flat out stood out and shined brightly. Was electric on kickoff returns and blanketed in coverage. Played elite and with swagger and was an obvious big play waiting to happen.

He looked physical out there that's for sure. Going to be a hard hitter in the B1G for the foreseeable future IMO.

I'll take your word for it, but I find it hard to believe he is an inferior athlete to either of the Mannings or Brady.

    Fair enough. Time will tell.

My top 10 in no order VH3, RNK, Matthew Thomas, Pogi, Bivin, White, K. Rodgers, J. Smith, EV, and Brice Ramsey. Ramsey didn't put up the numbers but was very impressed with his quick release and overall game something I wasn't expecting.

Great list. We feel strongly Vernon Hargreaves III is the top CB in the country. Most naturally instinctive DB I've seen since Eric Berry.

Any idea why Zeke Elliott was limited? The one time they got him the ball he took it about 19 yards on a third and long. Would've liked to have seen him get the ball a few more times in space he just looks explosive. When he was in he was more of a blocker which surprised me because I don't see him as being a great blocking back.

Tough to get everybody a bunch of touches in an all-star game. Met his dad in San Antonio. He played football at Missouri. Great guy.

That wasn't my question JC. I wanted to know your guys thoughts on Montelus this week.

He sat out some of the practices but does a lot of good things on the interior. Like him as a prospect but think 90 is about right. I would put a guy like Mike McGlinchey ahead of him, for example.

Love Kenny Bigelow and always have since I saw him at a lineman challenge at Rutgers in January of 2011. He's bought in at DT, has great strength and athleticism and is a potential first rounder once USC gets done with him.

I mean, the Trojans could potentially have Kenny Bigelow, Leonard Williams and Eddie Vanderdoes on their defensive line, which is coached by Ed Orgeron, who is outstanding. Think about that for a minute and consider Notre Dame went from 7-8 wins a year to 12-0 largely due to major upgrades on the defensive front.

I agree with you. Thought he was good all week. Also think Folston is a better RB prospect. Both are top tier, though.
