Jeremy Johnson has no business being a four-star prospect. He proved today that he didn't belong. He looks awkward and clumsy, and compares more to Jared Lorenzen than Cam Newton. If I were Auburn fans, I'd be extremely nervous about the QB spot.

Nice to see Indiana is getting a player in Allen. I saw on twitter where people thought he played well this week. He also said a lot of the other players were shocked he was goign to IU

Thanks - appreciate the thoughts, JC. Still think Mahon is easily a 4*, but it's your website. I'm fine with him being a 3* and hopefully proving that rating wrong on the field in the coming years

Small school/ no competition, shut down recruiting early, dunno how much he'll grow...the ranking on Cory Robinson made sense but can he really be #102 at WR now? Also, ND has a few guys ranked fairly high who didn't get any invites ie. Kinlaw, Mutuska, Heuerman,etc....do you see any of them taking a hit for not getting any face time?

Not "going after" anybody. I've gotten a lot of negative feedback from high school and college coaches on him. That being said, we are going to look at whatever senior film we can find and go from there.
If prospects are going to move up, then some must come down. That's the way it works.

There are a ton of receivers ranked. It is by far the position we rank the most prospects at.
Guys are going up, so guys are going to go down as a result. I need to talk to some folks about Mutuska to see if he's really a four or a three.
Kinlaw and Heuerman likely will maintain their rating, though you do have to factor in durability on Kinlaw. We have seen enough on film to be good to go with those two.

Yes I was typing too fast on my phone-should have read "I can't imagine a scenario where both Herron and White DON'T move up."
Apologies.

I don't think anyone will have a major problem for dropping players for poor performance and injuries, but they need to be across the board for all players.
I hope no one tries to defend Shane Morris having horrible stats and looking downright average to bad by saying he was sick and missed time.
I watched Hills senior film and he looked very explosive off the ball on film to me, especially for a guy his size. I am not an expert though. I just thought it was strange that he was brought up for a drop in the Army Bowl report since he did not practice or play in the Bowl at all, so there was nothing for scouts to scout about him.
Anyway, most reasonable fans will understand that some players are going to go up and some go down. Its the ones that just don't jive with what they see that really bother them. Shane Morris put up mediocre numbers against bad competition, looked outclassed when he played a real OH HS team, missed a ton of developmental time, and had a bad showing in the skills and game for UA. If he doesn't get dropped appropriately, that's when reasonable fans get confused and upset.
Edit: meant to quote JC about Hill.
