The Eagles are stupid for what they accepted for him. This guy is a elite corner and the eagles should have asked for at least a second rounder.

I hate the overrated falcons but good get, Asante is the real deal to go with Grimes.

Look at the other 2 starting CB's we have in Namdi Asomughai and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. They both are man-man cover guys and Asante is a zone read look at the QB CB. He no longer fits what they are doing .

Asante is 31, is a 1 trick pony, not physical, terrible against the run, and is more of a playmaker than a cover corner. He also makes 9+ million.
The Eagles asked for a 3rd rounder and didn't get any nibbles.

Not really. Asante is about the softest DB in the league. The next time he makes a play in the run game will be the first, and the next time he presses someone will be the first.
Samuel is 31 and is soft as hell, and will run out of steam real quickly.

Yeah, because the majority of the league runs the ball on most plays.... I'll take Samuels at CB vs. whoever the F the eagles take in the 7th round.
