Asante Samuel traded to the Falcons

    7th rounders can work out great, just ask my boy Stevie Johnson. As much as you think salaries don't matter, he was making 9 million dollars. That played a huge factor in them trading.

    And lol at you saying running the ball doesn't matter, the Niners did a lot of passing this year.

    Just because passing is "the way of the league" doesn't mean stopping the run isn't important. If you can dominate on the ground you win, and Samuel can't stop the run for chit. Nor is he a great corner. He had 3 picks last year, and sucked ass in coverage. Plenty of CB's I'll take over Asante.

  • Asante is better against the run than DRC...that dude straight gave up on a running play like I have never seen before. DRC did not impress me at all. Say what you want about Asantes shortcomings, but he is a playmaker on a defense that has very few of them. Considering he restructured his contract, I dont know why they didnt just keep him. Should have traded him before last season when people were offering 2nd round picks. Howie Roseman and Joe Banner are two dork faggots who have no business running an NFL team. 7th round pick? Probably a LB or safety who will end up starting for us next year knowing these clowns. SMH
