I guess it depends on what east coasters consider "West" Maybe it's another Texas kid?
Around 15 kids in top 100 from everything west of Texas(Cali, NV, Az, Wa)... None in the top 10
15 kids in the top 100 from Texas alone
Damn kids out here keep playing country club sports, get no respect. Oh well, we suck at foosball but rock at waterpolo.

Nope. We think the top in Louisiana is pretty much set - as of today - with Fournette, Cam Robinson and Jones.
Fournette is a really special prospect IMO.

After a full 4-5 classes, I think that number is likely a little different (as we thought the Sunshine state had a special class of kids in 2011).
I've always said I think some states have a special year/class with a number of those level prospects - with the understanding guys still have to maximize their ability/develop and nothing is guaranteed, as well as injuries, misses, etc... - in 2014 Virginia and Louisiana have a real chance IMO (Florida, California and Texas can be considered special every year just because of the sheer #'s produced)

I understand Gerry, just pok'n at the bear a bit.
We get our start a little slower out here in the west but we're used to it by now. It all works out for the most part by the time signing day comes around. Only reason why I noticed the numbers was when I tried to look up a few 14' Cali CB's yesterday and saw around 5 guys from Cali total. Surprised me a bit after seeing Texas, FL and LA numbers in the 100.
