There is no way I'm taking Murray over Tyler Wilson. I think if this is based off of projected statistics then yes Murray has the potential to put up huge numbers against that schedule but that certainly doesn't mean he is the best quarterback in the league.

citing college football awards is just ignorant. they are very subjective and inconsistent.

Claiborne was the best defensive back in college football last year, so yes he won the Thorpe Award. Doesn't mean that he was more impactful on the defensive side of the ball as Mathieu though.
I know that as Alabama fans, we love to beat the drum of Mathieu getting beat in the BCSCG a couple of times on deep passes as reason to why he is not a good DB, but give a little credit to the QB and WRs as well. There probably wasn't a corner in college football that could have played those plays any better. Good routes and perfect passes will beat great coverage.
