wtf is mike smith doing? this game is meaningless and hes still got his starters in and theyre losing to tampa. who the hell cares if they lose or not. im going to laugh if they have some starters get injured

yes. Falcons are hilarious. Gonna get bounced by whoever goes to Atlanta in round 2.
If not for that Seattle game the Packers would be clinching the 1 seed in the NFC with a win this afternoon. So frustrating, knew that game was going to fvck them over.

You wouldn't know their starters were in the Martin ran all over their arses. Egregious decision by Smith in the first place, though. I know hindsight is 20/20 but in a meaningless game give your guys some got damn rest.

probably saw what happened to the Packers last year and didn't want to do that.
Packers sat em week 17 then had the bye and looked like shit in the playoff game, some credit to the Giants obviously, but they did not look ready for that game.
Its a tough decision for a coach, pros and cons either way and you are going to get criticized if the way you choose doesnt work out, but its really a toss up.

I would have sent them out for at least the first quarter. With a bye next week, I'd want them to get some gametime today. It backfired on him, but I don't blame him.
