Not sure about his weight, but he was our scout team MVP last year, FWIW. I expect him to get some carries, but I really hope he makes an impact in the return game.

IMO, the pecking order is looking like:

Mason/Blakely
Grant
Robinson

Of course McCalebb will play, but not in the place of any of these guys.

He's not big enough to run btwn the tackles.

OMac will play a good bit. He's too dangerous to not give carries to.

Agree he will but used, but of those two years he was the main back in ONE game. In that one game he was the main back because Dyer likes to get high. Grant and Blakely came from HS bigger and stronger than him and they still play a SEC schedule and not a Pac 12 schedule.

I remember seeing him play in high school and he was probably 170. I wonder if that will affect his speed?

Sure, but mot enough to really matter IMO. He has speed to burn. His biggest obstacle will be learning to be physical and at the same time staying healthy. He is not playing in a spread at AU anymore and he will have to learn to put his shoulder into guys and fall forward. If he can, he will be a quality SEC RB.
