Congrats on your season. The only reason you guys beat Bama was because of stellar offensive line play and bama shooting themselves in the foot. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoyed aTm beating Bama at their own place. Keep Bama's d-line and LB's in check more often than you don't = win more often than not.

You are losing the majority of your offensive lineman to the NFL or graduation this year. No matter how highly you may think of your team, you do not have replacements that are equal skill to Joeckel, Matthews, and Patrick Lewis. You simply don't, unless you think rising sophomores German Ifedi, Mike Matthews, and Joseph Cheek are somehow going to simple step in and no one will be the wiser. Unlikely, to say the least. Johnny Heisman may be all-world, but it was your offensive line that made the Sumlin/Kingsbury spread effective. You are now losing the three most important O-lineman. You will take a step back next year, no matter the stats put up by JFH.

Not only this, but losing 3 starting WR's (Nwachukwu, Swope, and McNeal) and your starting RB (Christine Michael) are likely to find the same result (i.e., no streamlined, "no-drop-off" replacements). This doesn't even bring up who you lose on defense. You could sign 500 instead of 34, and that reality wouldn't change.

Auburn will be fine eventually. History, let alone common sense, dictate that result. I always at people like you when statements such as yours above are made. You really think AU, with 2 undefeated seasons in the last 8 years, 1 MNC, 1 Heisman, 1 Lombardi, 1 Thorpe, 2 SEC Championships in the last 8 years, and being wedged between the fertile recruiting states of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida that we are simply going to fade into obscurity and/or become UK football?

Again, congrats on your 3rd place finish in the SEC west. But if you really think the BS you spout, you need to take a real hard introspective look into your fanhood.
