Almost everybody that I have talked to say this came down to Golson not wanting to play for Trickett at the end of the day and following a girlfriend to Ole Miss who is either already there or heading them next fall

going to college to follow your high school girlfriend is beyond idiotic. the chances they stay together are somewhere between slim and none. college is for hooking up and experiencing new things. i sincerely hope he has more reasons than just that because hes making a terrible choice otherwise

Im just laughing cause it was a kid Trickett was so high on for years and then at the last minute he said screw Trickett just like most kids do, which once again proves Trickett is a piss poor evaluator of talent and character.... he is luck Denson comes from a FSU pipeline and would have picked FSU even if we didn't have a football program
But Golson sucks, he likely would have flaked out at FSU and been a party animal with no work ethic

You're talking about a pretty good kid from good families that does not have a reputation for being a partier or for being lazy on the football field or in life in general. I'm sure that's a new concept for you given the fact that FSU is known for being somewhat "thuggish". As far as Liner, Austin had one bad showing against him which was actually in the spring, he did much better at the Opening this summer and also ran all over him in practices for the bama vs MS all star game. You're entitled to your opinion on his athletic abilities of course but you don't know him and shouldn't make the assumption that he'd party and flake out because that's not who he is.
