Nah Brian Johnson was weak and got a lot of hype. AC/DC went down hill after Bon Scott died. They had one good album that I'm still convinced was written by Bon (Back in Black).

Lol on Axl Rose ... you would've gotten more debate over David Lee Roth. GnR at the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in '93 remains the best concert I've ever seen. They were incredible live and at their peak.

Axl Rose is far from overrated. Top 5 all time as far as i'm concerned. My Uncle went to a GNR concert back in 91 & Axl was 3 hours late but ended up coming on & doing a full show & an encore & tore the place down.

Cobain would be a good choice. Without Axl we wouldn't have Appetite for Distruction, which IMO is one of, if jot the best rock albums of all time.

i saw GnR opening for the rolling stones at the Coli in LA where usc plays. back then there was a running track around the football field leftover from the 1984 olympics.
axl jumped off the staged and ran the 440 all the way around the track with microphone in hand and finished by saying "i always wanted to run around that fvcker"
