Looking at the Big Ten, here's the 247Sports list of the 2013 signees we believe could have the greatest impact for their team next season including Michigan's Derrick Green.

  • I'd agree with that.

Honestly, I see a lot of redshirts for Penn State this fall in the 2013 class. A JUCO makes the most sense as someone who will contribute early. A couple others who might see playing time this coming season are Breneman, Brandon Bell, and one of the EE DB's (Jordan Smith or Anthony Smith).

  • Yeah, I thought about going with Jordan Smith. CB was a big position of need for Penn State in last year's class as well.

No kidding. Coaches literally couldn't even field a nickel package last year. The state of our secondary last year was extremely sad.

  • Can't go wrong with Green for Michigan. Another one Michigan fans are really looking forward to is Dymonte Thomas. I would disagree with them expecting more from him his sophomore year, but he is an early enrollee and will he starting spring practice in less than 2 weeks.

  • Thanks Steve.

I think that Gerald Holmes could be a bigger contributor as a freshman than Delton. Don't get me wrong, Delton is a phenomenal athlete, and I'm excited to have him on either/both side(s) of the ball at MSU. I just think that Holmes will better fill the open spot left by Bell. MSU has a couple speed back options in RS-FR Nick Tompkins, Jeremy Langford, and potentially incoming FR RJ Shelton. Does Delton Williams provide enough of a power option to adequately compliment them?

I think you will see Dymonte push for a spot on the two deep and the rotation while also making an impact on special teams units.

You could be right. One of those freshmen running backs is going to find the rotation. Delton can hurt a defense in so many different ways. I like him to make an impact right away.

Interesting battle for that strong safety position at Michigan with Kovacs departure. Between upperclassmen Josh Furman/Marvin Robinson, or sophomore Jarrod Wilson and freshman Dymonte Thomas. I'd actually put my money on one of the younger two.

Nobody cares about the B1G and their awful recruiting (besides UM and OSU). There are very few players people are even excited about, and the one's that could be exciting are in Cbus or AA.

  • Defensive line for the Bucks is "up in the air" at this point.. all though there are many "shoe -ins" so to speak.. I will be interested to see if any surprises should occur juggle

I would be most comfortable with Thomas Gordon sliding to SS and Wilson taking over FS.
