Notre Dame has lost 2 games this season that the refs served them on a silver platter. I guess you could argue the Stanford game, but there's no arguing that phantom PI call against Pitt. I would much rather Bama play Notre Dame than Oregon. Game will be over by halftime.

The best thing that could've happened did happen this weekend with Oregon and K-State losing. Oregon would've been tough. K-state would've been less tough. Notre Dame is a cake walk for Bama/UGA. They have been skating by the skin of their teeth all year. Not impressed with UGA as they nearly lost to UT and UK. shouldn't be a problem for Bama.
So needless to say I will be extremely surprised if the ND/Bama game is still a game by the end of the 3rd quarter.

Yep and Oklahoma was surprised. I am sure the Ducks were surprised with Stanford. I am sure Bama was surprised how lsu's inept passing game sliced thru Bama's D. I am sure Bama fans were surprised with a middle of the road B12 coming to the SEC and beating them. After all, just a few weeks ago Bama could beat NFL teams.

That middle of the pack Big 12 team would also be favored against ND 9+. They have the best player in the country. Yes we were surprised by LSU and ATM. But unless Mantei T'ao has learned to play QB for ND as well as be an awesome MLB I think we'll be okay.

Mettenburger has always had potential. His performance was just par for the course for a first year starter. He played well against us but also had a bye week before us to get ready. Not saying our secondary is a bunch of world beaters but I will take them being prepared for a very lucky ND team for a month by the best coach in football. I'm just hoping ND can beat USC evern without Barkley. That is still gonna be a close game.
