BAMA vs. ND

LOL, yeah that is it Internet Tough Guy. I think too smart would be more accurate....and it has nothing to do with the outcome of the game. Why would I bet some ITG Bama homer when I can bet locally with no risk of getting ripped off? Not very smart are you? Tell you what, if you want to bet me so bad, send me the money and then if by some small chance you win, I will send it back along with my bet. roflmao

Besides, I would feel bad if I took your money before Christmas. Who knows, that might be your rent money for your trailer. I don't want your homeless family on my conscious. Of course, based on your posts I find it hard to believe you are able to save that kind of money anyway...

lol UGA hasn't won a meaningful game in forever. My best friend attends UGA and even he knows UGA has no shot in big games. Would love to see UGA win then we'd be tearing Miami up early next year, but not counting on it..

  • Who knows what would happen with ND/Bama ND/Georgia.

All I know is that they may win and they may lose. ND will not get blown out by anyone. Their defense is too good to let that happen. What is more likely is that its 13-3 or 10-0 or something crazy like that.

However, if you think that ND doesn't have the talent to stay with an SEC you're blind. Name one player on the ND defensive line that wouldn't play significant minutes on any line in the SEC?

Tuitt? KLM? Nix? Shembo? Need I remind you that all of those players were recruited by SEC schools.

Nope. Just pointing out, that I was around for some of the great years. I'm only 32. Good to see were on our way back. Maybe The Irish & Gators will lock horns here in the coming years. Should be fun.

Bama might not even get there. Georgia has a passing offense...something Bama has not been too successful at stopping this year. LSU and their nonexistent passing game lit up Bama.

True...Bama may not even make it. But I'll say this...If Bama doesn't turn the ball over UGA will not beat us and ND damn sure won't. Speaking of LSU, we had 2 TO's, got lit up in the air and still won on the road in Death Valley at night. Texas A&M, 3 TO's and lost on 4th down by throwing a pick in the endzone with 1 minute to go. 5 TO's in those 2 games while creating none and we went 1-1. Fact, if we hang on to the ball....good luck beating us. Hope we get to find out though.

Of course they wouldn't play, if an SEC team wanted them then an SEC team would have them. ND play's with the SEC's leftovers blah

I concur. I'm glad you realize that our 3rd stringers would fit your starting positions very well.

I think you would take Kentucky by a few TDs.

Ole Miss???? If Pitt got to OT, I wouldn't count Ole Miss out. Of course now saying that, maybe I shouldn't write off Kentucky so quickly.

I didn't say we didn't have a loss. Just saying though, if a highly suspect PI call is needed to beat Pitt in OT at home, I wouldn't count anyone out.

No doubt. I was just pointing out that you commented about Kentucky and Ole Miss. Should Notre Dame beat both of them? Yes, but with how close some games have been against lesser opponents, I wouldn't count anyone out either, especially an Ole Miss team that is at minimum on par with and probably better than Pitt.

None of this matters though because Notre Dame just needs to slide by a 4-loss USC team with a first time starting QB to get a chance to silence all the doubters against more than likely Alabama/UGA.

This is a year that any team will have doubters though, not just Notre Dame. Alabama did lose. It was the week after a tough game at LSU and against a team we probably still should have beat, but we didn't. IF we do play Notre Dame, we definitely don't want to have a 1st quarter like that against them either or we could easily lose that one as well.

UGA has questions. First, a 33 point loss to anyone raises some eyebrows, IMO. Also, they single handedly almost saved both Joker and Dooley's jobs at Kentucky and Tennessee as well.

None of that matters anymore honestly though, as all any 3 of those teams need to do now is just be better than 3, and in Notre Dame's case 2, more teams one day at a time and they get the last word.

I hope we play you guys. It will be a lot of fun. I am also sure that we will have a bunch of weeks of good flaming leading up to it IF it happens as well, but I am glad that Notre Dame is relevant again for the moment. Football is more fun that way.

Of course I know they'd beat Kentucky and as long as you guys didn't lay an egg, you'd handle Ole Miss.

UGA can be that good, but Murray is only completing 41% of his passes against ranked opponents so I have my doubts on them being able to beat both Bama and Notre Dame. They do have the talent to get it done though, but when you look at what they've done on the field, you really have to question if they can put it together in a big game.
