It was 13, I believe. Thats why I said i wasnt the one saying Alabama was gonna roll but theres plenty if people who apparently think us and everbody else in the Top 10 woukd so its not a ridiculous thought at all. It actually shows what the majority thinks. Upsets happen. When Vegas sets these lines its for even money purposes. So they and the majority of people believe that if both Alabama and Notre Dame play their "A" game then Bama would be a 10 point favorite. If you've read my posts, you'd know i think it will be a much closer game than what Vegas believes. The Alabama that got beat by Texas A&M isnt generally the team that shows up in big games. It was an upset, nothing more.

Of course I know they'd beat Kentucky and as long as you guys didn't lay an egg, you'd handle Ole Miss.
UGA can be that good, but Murray is only completing 41% of his passes against ranked opponents so I have my doubts on them being able to beat both Bama and Notre Dame. They do have the talent to get it done though, but when you look at what they've done on the field, you really have to question if they can put it together in a big game.

41% against ranked teams, holy shit that's bad. Good thing they only played 2 ranked teams. Any idea what UGA's and Bama's opponents records were ^^^this year? I have a feeling they have to be around .500. UK, Tennessee, Auburn, Missouri, are bad. Then you have 2 opponents that were FCS I believe.

And you people walk around like you couldn't have easily lost several games. Being undefeated is great. It is part of the equation when evaluating the strength of a team. How you won/lost is more important.
Blame it on bias if you want, but there is a reason why every CFB commentator says the same thing. ND deserves to be #1 (because they haven't lost) but they are not the best team in the country.
Last item... Yes we played Western Carolina last week (a bad FCS team) and our Strength of Schedule is STILL better than ND according to Sagarin (30 vs. 33). I guess that is bias too.
Bottom line is that barring further upsets you will get to prove you are the best team in January. I am betting that whichever team plays you (BAMA, UGA, OU, UF, FSU, A&M....) will beat you handily and bring you back to reality.

Yep 11-0 #1 and would be underdogs to the vast majority of the top 10. Not my opinion. FACT. Their have been many articles with hypothetical lines and ND is the underdog against all the other top teams.
I don't have a problem with ND being #1. What I have an issue with is stupid homers like you that can't see the obvious flaws in your team. Simply put, ND is an average team that got the benefit of several questionable calls and lucky breaks that just happens to be undefeated.
And the "STFU little guy" is really funny because I am certain you wouldn't say that to my face. Comments like this are reserved for those that can't make a reasoned argument.

Interesting discussion.
Here's the deal...........
a) Some teams play to their level of competition.
b) Some teams start strong and stay strong all year.
c) Some teams start slow and finish strong.
Y'all can piss and moan about SOS and all that shit but at the end of the day it all gets settled on the field. Winners win games....no matter how ugly or how close the score might be. My opinion is that both Alabama and Notre Dame are good teams. Are they heads and shoulders above the rest of the top 10? No, they aren't, sorry. I have not seen a dominant team this year.
Contrary to the opinions of many that post here, Georgia can beat any team on any given day. The same could be said for FSU, UF, LSU, Oregon, Stanford and South Carolina. The common theme among all of them is NFL level talent.
One last thing, the last time UGA had a freshman rush for 1,000 yards, Alabama finished 2nd in the SEC and UGA played Notre Dame for the National Championship................and won.
