The day you learn that BCS titles are NOT WON, but are AWARDED is the day you finally graduate from college football 101 class. They never WON one, so no, its not within reason to claim they did.
Christ, is it this difficult to explain everything to you?
I put a little Oregon symbol on my posts......no congratulations to me?

I'm on mobile so I can't see and I really don't care.
By the way, the BCS votes on participants to play in the game. The WINNER is awarded the trophy. Are you really trying to say that because the BCS votes on the two participants and could theoretically vote on the champion because of their independence, that means they DO vote on the winner and could award it to the loser?
Yea.......

No...you conceeded that YOU were awarding them the title.
I already said that they have two very legitimate AP awarded titles in the last ten years. They were national champions in 2004.
This thread went off on that "BCS titles won" thing, and saying USC has a BCS title is just factually wrong. They dont, because its an awarded title. Its a very clear distinction that seems completely lost on you.
Oh and I dont pay to post on college football message boards. I guess I could go into my profile to gussy it up a little, but as a hipster doofus, its hard to build up the energy.

Its still just an award. Its not an actual on the field championship. They chose not to award it to USC.
Why is that so important to you? I already said that USC was the national champion for that year, based on them having the AP trophy.
They were national champs....they were not BCS champs.

USC fans......they crawl back off that bandwagon the second USC loses a game. I expect you will be on some Lakers message board, pretending you never heard of USC, right after the Condoms loses to Utah or Washington in October.

Well you keep praying to those voices in your head that Oregon gets slammed by the NCAA. I am sure the little dance you will do will get lots of Youtube hits.
Until that day, do try to talk about things that have actually happened, rather than what you so desperately want to happen.

So even though its an ABSOLUTE FACT that USC does not have a BCS championship, you deciding that they deserve one, is enough to make that happen?
Seriously.....are you four? Is this how you do things, you just decide the way that you want things to be, and make that your truths for the day? Is the sky going to be green tomorrow, because you think thats the way it should be?

It really doesn't matter to me.
Vacating wins isn't getting hammered bud. It's widely accepted that you will be vacating wins at the very least. And it doesn't really matter to me because I know who won those games, but you apparently need someone to hold your hand and tell you who did.
At the end of the day even if you don't vacate: Oregon - 10 conference titles USC - 11 National titles.
This fight is fixed.

The deserved part was my opinion. I conceded the fact the title was stripped.
No matter how much you wish it didn't happen and how much arguing you want over semantics, USC won the BCS title in 2004 and had it stripped.
They still won it at some point and time and therefore I don't see the problem with them being on that list (side note:I edited my OP).
Also your ad hominem is irrelevant so no need for that.

Nobody has ever won an NCAA division one football title. They have had them awarded.
Its not semantics. Its just the way its ALWAYS been. Its college football.
