Recognize them all you want. The AP agrees with you.
But you recognizing them has nothing to do with the fact that the BCS does not.
So obviously "everyone else" does not agree with you.
2004 is the year with no BCS champion. There was still a national champion, but the BCS did not award one that year.

You really dont grasp this do you?
It has NOTHING to do with the game on the field. Its a VOTED on title, so they can VOTE it away.
They still have two AP titles, which were not voted away. The game still happened, but the little paper championship, the crystal ball trophy, and whatever else a BCS champion gets, well USC has zero of those.
The BCS is an independent group that AWARDS a national title. They chose NOT to award it to USC.

It is awarded to the winner assuming no evidence comes to light that they had an unfair advantage. Because that was determined their title was stripped. Whether it not they won it on the field, they no longer have it.
They have an AP title but no BCS title for that year. Don't see why you guys are arguing that.

Southern Cal is in no way shape or form the 2004 NC winners. They forfeit those games for cheating, period.
You can sit there and say it's not fair to the USC players not named Reggie Bush, but how in the hell is that fair to the teams that they played against that USC gets arguably the best player in CFB on their team illegally?
What if Auburn played Cam Newton all next year and won the NC? Would you say they deserved it?
That's the worst logic I've seen in a long long time.
USC cheated by playing someone who they weren't allowed to play, therefore, they do not deserve to count the wins they had while they played that player. Period. Same goes for FSU when they did it.

Shoulda kept reading because I stated that was my opinion.
What I said was fact is that they won the game and therefore the title at one point and then had it taken away, therefore there is nothing factually wrong with the term "BCS Titles WON".
I even added an asterisk for AlwaysMore.

Cant agree with this.
When the NCAA made their ruling on the topic it is washed away as though USC never even played the game, let alone won the NC. You can't semi-award it to them.

It really doesn't matter to me.
Vacating wins isn't getting hammered bud. It's widely accepted that you will be vacating wins at the very least. And it doesn't really matter to me because I know who won those games, but you apparently need someone to hold your hand and tell you who did.
At the end of the day even if you don't vacate:
Oregon - 10 conference titles
USC - 11 National titles. This fight is fixed.

Since the birth of the BCS, the BCS championship is the only legitimate organization that can award a National Title. All Universites agreed to allow the BcS to decide who wins the National Title. The AP is no more legit than the Holgate title is today.

Quackers are the trailer trash, stoner idiots of the PAC...they were the most vocal haters when our sanctions came down, and how they're under the NCAA microscope.
They think the vacated wins including the championship, makes them the legitimate power in the PAC from now till eternity. Maybe they are...but, we've seen this before, throughout PAC history, many programs have flowed in and out of relevance...only to fade back to "once were" status.
No BCS championship, but our kids won the game on the field of play, and LenDale White was the RB that Oklahoma could not stop.
One less trophy does not empty the case.

I love that you freaking crybabies get all this from me posting a simple fact. The BCS stripped USC of the award.
USC is STILL the only nationally recognized national title holder from that year, because of the AP trophy.
I have said that like thirty times, but of course the estrogen levels among USC fans is so great that the ability to read and comprehend these little things has long since passed.
This all came about because some Alabama fan mistakenly posted that USC is still a holder of that 2004 BCS award.. He was corrected on that, and now its become this idiot fest of badly educated USC fans running around puffing up their sunken little chests and reading off the USC historical legacy.

Well he's not correct but since 2004/2005 or whenever it was when the BCS dropped the AP poll from the formula because of the LSU/USC split in 2003,the AP poll has lost a lot of its prestige. (Havent had a split since either).
While this isn't an agreement like Stache referenced, it still is similar where the AP is less recognized.

USC has zero BCS titles. Its as simple as that, but because YOU are the one that feels compelled to argue completely idiotic and indefensible positions, we are at this point where we are just calling each other names.
Christ even the USC fans, as dense as they are, admit they got that title stripped. But you just gotta keep at it, dont you?
Its YOU being the arrogant prick. Who is the one arguing a point that is completely and factually WRONG, based entirely on his arrogant proclamation that because HE recognizes the title, it has to be true? You are handing out national titles and Im the arrogant one?
