BOOM-4 star DE Devin Washington and

  • High 3 star DE David Johnson both commit to the gamecocks today within a matter of minutes of each other.

  • Congrats. Seems like South Carolina are the new UNC in terms of d-line talent.

Hey Trojans, LSU's 74 are better than your 75.

  • Devin's brother is UF commit Nick Washington.. Kinda felt bad for him after reading his last interview. Kid wanted so bad to be a Gator. Now, I don't feel bad for him anymore. USCe has done a great job finding and developing their DE's. I don't know how much of that was Ellis Johnson or not, but still. Obviously Clowney was meant to be a beast from day one, but guys like Ingram and Taylor were underrated guys that have gone on to become beasts.

This kid showed out at a camp in Orlando recently. He needs some time to fill out but he's super athletic and seems like a good dude. Congrats Cocks.. Good pick up.

Our DL coach, Brad Lawing, is one of the main reasons. Isn't too much of a recruiter, but he can coach em up and develop talent. Obviously we have Taylor/Clowney, but there are a lot of guys coming up the pipes that should be very good too.

  • As previously mentioned, Brad Lawing does our DL evals.

Ellis was mostly responsible LBs and recruiting Rock Hill, SC. No questioning his game planning abilities though.
