Bad news early for FSU in spring ball....

As of right now Juco EE OT Daniel Glauser has only one year of eligibility. Sounds like we are/will appeal but that is always an uphill battle. Wouldn't be awful news, but it isn't desirable. Will help recruit Tunsil and we'll have other really great options next year. 95% of this guy's value is for this year as a 22 year old 6'6 315 guy.
Also, Devonta Freeman surprisngly announced he has a lower back injury and will sit out spring and just do rehab. Doesn't sound good. He's a guy I'm expecting to have a 160+ carry season this year.
Gonna be the Mario Pender show in Tally I guess. Hopefully Wilder gets charges reduced and all that passes by as well.

I doubt Freeman sitting Spring Ball matters too much. He must know the playbook by now, and it's better to have him healthy IMO.
Don't know anything about Glauser, but always hear you guys complain at your lack of o-line so that's a tough break.

Fisher did say Coker will challenge for the second spot.....
Glauser situation is a weird one, a rule hardly seen so that hurts.... missing on HS kids hurt but with 8 the year before we could afford a small spacing, but we can not miss on at least 4 HS kids this year....

This spring is all about our OL getting reps. The rest of the team (besides one LB spot and maybe getting Haulstead some reps) are good to go.

As long as Trickett stay at FSU as the OL coach, FSU will not take that next step forward. Great defense and bad offense. Not sure how much worse he has to prove to be as a coach and recruiter to fire the guy. That said, I'm glad Jimbo is so loyal to his good buddy. Reminds me of Richt with Bobo and Martinez, who he replaced three years after he should have.

I like that group but one concussion and a broken nail and two guys are down for the season
If we have that group for opening day it will be a miracle, if they last the whole season I will crap in my pants
But Stork still sucks, I don't care what anybody tells me
I have watched the kid play for 2 years, he blows.... and simply isn't elite D1 material.... if he starts on your team winning 10 games is an uphill battle
