  • USC will try to do its part since it will mean a Rose Bowl berth, but don't get your hopes up. The number of turnovers we have given up the last three games are very concerning. Most of them could have been prevented.

    Our boys will try though for sure.

    IF USC was to know off both Notre Dame and then Oregon as well, don't you think that deep down Assassin would be just a little upset if Alabama went on to win the BCS title, thanks in part to USC?

    I don't care about Ncaa's hate all things SEC. I think he be trolling you guys though. Some of the meltdowns are pretty funny.

    but I care about USC getting to the RB. If that means we provide Bama the chance to return to the MNC, so be it. I will take it this year with the way the Trojans have played.

    I like Assassin. His passion is a little misplaced at times, but he's not always completely wrong either. There is West Coast bias, but there are a lot of media on the West Coast that buy into it as well. I kind of wish the B12/PAC12 merger would have happened this past couple of offseasons just to put an end to some of it.

    I agree that he would rather see USC win than worry about what the implications of doing so could cause.

    Part of me would love to see Snyder get a BCS title and you know those chances just aren't going to come often at Kansas St. Of course I would love to see Bama there and if we are, I'd like to play Notre Dame just for what that would be like.

  • Growing up an OU fan, I respect the hell out of Bill Snyder and hope he gets the championship he deserves this season.

    Nothing against the other programs in the race, but what Snyder has done for that program (not once but twice) is remarkable and worthy of the CFB HOF. The only thing he is missing is a national title.

    EDIT: As for the ND-Bama matchup, Beano would be smiling up above.

    There is no doubt he is a HOFer. He probably should already be in there, IMO.

    If Klein plays anywhere close to 100% I don't think it happens.

    JMO, but Texas has imploded this season, and I don't think they have enough mental fortitude to beat a team like KSU who just doesn't make mistakes. They're not the prettiest team in the world to watch, but they prove that it is damn hard to beat a team that doesn't ever beat themselves.
