    If Mississippi State can hilariously destroy Denard, I'm pretty sure that it's a foregone conclusion that Denard won't exactly be running free against Alabama.

    So now a game that happened 2 years ago is being used as evidence that Alabama will stop Denard? That seems exceedingly ridiculous.

    I have a sig bet with a Michigan State fan who was talking smack a few months ago. I challenged him to a bet where Michigan would not lose as badly as Michigan State, of course I had to concede quite a bit of points before the bet was agreed ... I mean 42 points is a lot to give.

    Edit: There were favorable terms agreed to, there is a range where I will lose and if it goes over or under, I will win. It was a good bet.

    But .. but it was against a defending national championship team ... Well, we did beat Florida in between their nattys the year Tebow won the Heisman ... Not saying we will win this one at all. I already said I expect to lose around 16 points but I think we do have a long shot to win if everything goes our way.

    If you want to lump all posters together, you would see that the vast majority do not and think we will lose. If you want to represent 1 or 2 posters as the fanbase, then congrats.

    It is not worth arguing with someone who thinks that one game film shows all when the same team who had access to it and kicked the crap out of you is the end all be all.

    Edit: Nebraska held you to 3 points.... we all just need to watch the film on how the 7th ranked defense shut you down and all teams can do it right??????????????

    We scored 45 on them. They scored 24 on you and 17 on us. All games are not equal.

    Why didn't your scheme work as well against Wisconsin the second time? Why didn't LSU's defensive scheme work as well against Alabama the second time?

  • Michigan definitely can win. It will obviously require some luck, but so does every big game to some extent. It'll be interesting to see how both teams look. This UA team is the first of its kind, while we have big guys they arent hightower big. They are REALLY fast though. This is gonna be our fastest defense since'92 IMO.

    This is what I have said all along. I think that Michigan is good enough to keep it close, but not good enough to win. But if they get a few lucky plays at crucial times, they could pull off an upset.

    I really respect Bama's team and what they are doing ... I just hate when Michigan State fans jump in and think they have the answer to stopping Michigan based on previous years. Yes they beat us, congrats. Obviously they have everything figured out. I mean, college football doesn't change year to year and things don't go in cycles .... They call us arrogant but they have never even been in a BCS game and try to call us out while talking a whole lot of @^&%$ and think they aren't arrogant themselves?

    Read the post it's about Denard not being 'elite,' which (in college football) he is. Those are very specific terms.

    Michael Vick is a better comparison for Denard Robinson's game than Cam Newton.

    Michael Vick has one of the strongest arms in football over the past 10 years. Bad comparison.

    Woody Danzler. Antwan Randle El. Hell a poor man's Matt Jones (coke head Jags receiver). Seneca Wallace. All those guys were great college quarterbacks that are much more accurate comparison.

    Vick as a starter in two years never had either as much passing yards or rushing yards in his best year as Denard had in his worst 2 year of starting.

    Denard actually throws a good short to intermediate ball, it is his deep ball that is terrible. He cam sling it into short routes which I am hoping Bourges takes advantage of.

    Completion percentage as well: Vick 54% and 58% / Denard 55% and 62.5%
