    Places to eat:

    Five (Downtown, great food)
    Archibalds (BBQ)

    Places to see:
    Tour around the campus
    Paul Bryant Museum
The Strip (Galletes, Houndstooth, Rooftop for some drinks)

  • Go to the quad to tailgate. Best time in all of football. Yellowhammers at Gspot to start day. Shots at Houndstooth with some Big Bad Wolves Nachos. Then quad. Won't regret it.

  • Stop in Nola before you go and I bet you stay the rest of the weekend. You won't regret it. Tuscalooser is boring, been many of times

  • There really isn't anything to do.

You could go to Moundville, I guess.

Bear Bryant Museum is a good place to check out once.

Definitely go out to the bars at night. That'll be fun. Maybe get in some golf if you can.

A day trip to Birmigham might not be a bad idea for Friday. More stuff there.

Dreamland has gone to shit ever since it started becoming a chain around the state and opening restaurants in places like Birmingham and Montgomery and so on. It was awesome at first but it's gone down hill fast since they started expanding. Archibalds is much better BBQ than Dreamland now, even the Tuscaloosa store.

If he goes to Birmingham all he has to do is go to Southside. There is enough stuff to do down there for one night for anyone.

Negative. The original TTown Dramland is a historical landmark and the heart of SEC football.

You can go have a beer and a slab at the same table Regan did. Only now they have AC. Milkjug road baby.

Historical I would agree with. The food isn't as good as it was 15-20 years ago though. I liked it when all they had was ribs and white bread.

    Ag,

Not sure where you're staying but I assume you'll get into town Thursday night. I know you're in your thirties so bars to check out would be Houndstooth and Innisfree. Other good bars as well but more college kid oriented like Galletes.

Friday, check out the campus. Walk around the quad, go to the Bryant Museum like many suggested, and check out some local restaurants. Off the top of my head

    Rama Jamas
    DePalmas
Archibalds (Screw Dreamland, Archibalds is better)
    Mugshots
    Five
I'd suggest Nicks in the Sticks but thats a little bit of a drive
PM me if you need any food suggestions

A lot of people will be setting up tailgates themselves on Friday so many people begin right away.

On Gameday, go to Galletes and try a Yellow Hammer. Big Bad Wolves BBQ is gold and enjoy the quad. A lot of fun out there. Walk around the Walk of Champions and Denny Chimes, gives a pretty good indication of our history.

Then when the game starts enjoy the ass whipping we hand out

Dreamland is shit now. Changed up their ribs or something. Not the same at all. Archibalds is way better

Hate on man but anyone who lives here will agree.

Rama Jama's is where I'd recommend for Friday lunch just because you can still get breakfast or go ahead and get lunch.

No way in hell will you be able to get Rama Jama's on Gameday though
