Bama fans: Stop chanting SEC

  • If Bama wins ITS 3rd VERY OWN NATIONAL TITLE in 4 years, the first time any team has done so in over half a century and the first time ever in the modern era (reminder: Nebraska split 1997 with Michigan), Bama fans SHOULD NOT GIVE A SH*T that UF won in it 2006 and 2008, LSU in 2007 and Auburn in 2010.

    Win THREE OF FOUR and keep your G****mn mouths shut about the conference Bama owns and stop embarrassing yourselves. ESPN and the rest of the sports media have made everyone well aware that this would be the SEC's 7th NC in a row. Well where would that SEC be without its only current and historical power? Screw everyone else. Don't be stupid and partially cheer for the 3-9 Auburn Tigers or force me into this rant in the stadium (again..Penn State Happy Valley). There will be no SEC-SEC-SEC when it becomes clear the Irish will fall late in the 4th quarter. Start practicing in your minds that you're not going to do it.

    Vandy, South Carolina, even Georgia-- hell everyone else should be happy to be associated with such a great group of teams during bowl season, or even the regular season for SOS purposes. I'm not saying I don't pull for the others in January from my living room. BUT IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP STADIUM, DON'T BE STUPID-- ROLL TIDE. Beat Notre Dame's c*nty little pants off and then celebrate the win for the TIde.

    I hope the point I was going for is clear.

    They have the SEC strength to thank for having the opportunity to play for a title even with a loss......again.

    As we all know though, Bama has no problem making flimsy claims to titles.

    Sorry I disagree for a couple of reasons.

    1.) the rest of the country and this board hates it that the SEC is now the media darling. I don't care what the SEC besides Bama does if not for the hatred of other fans. Especially those on this board..(Noles, buckeyes and Trojans must all suffer from little penis syndrome and think the SEC is responsible.

    2.) how many one loss teams were there this year? And which one is in the championship game?

    I see your point and when/if Bama wins its 3rd in 4 it will be Bamas but we are a part of the SEC. We win it for our state, our conference and our region. Trust me there are just as many guys ready to chant overrated as are ready to chant SEC.

    I will chant Roll Tide but guarantee their will be some SEC pride too. After all the conference does not have 6 straight without those other 4 and we might not be the one loss team playing in the big game. Just saying..
