    Grow up, man. When you sit there and care more about whining about the media bias when 17 human beings got shot last night, then you have seriously messed up priorities.

    And yes, this is coming from an Auburn fan.

    Exactly. 17 people are shot and the first thing that comes to mind is a perceived media bias against Auburn that you feel the need to cry about? That guy needs to get a grip on reality and re-think priorities. Good Lord.

    He's obviously the very tiny minority as evidenced by the other AU fans ITT. Everyone else has the mental capacity to understand that this has nothing to do with football or our rivalry. Two very sad and violent situations within about a month of each other. At least nobody has died from the Tuscaloosa shooting and hopefully it will stay that way. Really hope they catch this assbite soon. A nutjob walking around the streets with what appeared to be some type of assault rifle that he will obviously just fire into a crowd is about the worst thing you could have so close to a school's campus...

  • TalHawkins from this board was hit, but sounded somewhat minor. I think he said "grazed". He got stitched up, went home, and passed out is the word. Wishing him well...I know it's traumatic. I have a couple of friends that shoot pool over there from time to time, and kind of want to call them to check..but if they were even there and unharmed they were probably held up forever and are trying to get some rest now. I did hear there were blood trails all over the place from people going in different directions. Cops are going to be very busy with this one, and the asshole is still on the loose.

    Honestly shut the hell up. A few does not mean all of us. Many were concerned with the safety of the young men at Auburn just like we are concerned for the health of the 17 injured right now.

  • My buddy manages a bar over there. Said it took TPD 5 minutes and ambulances over 10 to get there. Not great response times.

    Couple people came in his bar all bloody.

    University was shut down for over an hour and a half.

    Rumor is that there maybe a few casualties. I have also have a friend that works in the ICU at DCH. He told me he would get back to me but he is understandably incredibly busy

    Meaning they went into 4th/23rd bloody? Guy that manages that dates a good friend of my wife.

    Actually, quite the opposite. We might have a couple of nut jobs running loose like every other place has but when this type of stuff goes down, that state will band together like no other. We might fight like brothers when it comes to football/sports but we stick together like family when it comes to violence and tragedy.

    Police said he observed the bar for several minutes then opened fire. Pre meditated.

    I'm in class on my iPad so forgive me if there are some typos. But I know TPD has stated that the shooter probably had a target in mind since he waited on the porch for 10 minutes before firing a shot. They also said he has a very recognizable limp and this would be helpful in finding the dude. The thing that strikes me weird is that there was a tatted up dude, in a bulletproof vest, holding an assault rifle on the porch for 10 minutes and nobody said anything?

    Either way, they'll find the nut job and hopefully string him up by the gills. Prayers sent to ttown.
