Pretty funny that any AU fan would ever discuss the oversigning issue. You guys have signed more players over the past 4 years than Alabama. Also, CGC attrition rate is really high. Isn't like 40% of the 2009 class already gone? I guess Barrett Trotter was processed as well.

I agree that Bama has more attrition than other schools and for one am glad to see it. I realize that this isn't popular with others but in real life that is how it works. You don't perform you move on either by your own choice or the boss's. Sounds tough but, as has been said so many times before, academic scholarships have performance requirements as well but no one talks about how many non athlete students on scholly don't make it through.

If I was allowed to get another year to get half of my master's degree paid for absolutely.
I'm not saying anyone in specific but I just want Bama fans to admit that they have more attrition than any other school does consistently. Rarely do you guys not sign a full class either. I don't really care. It is within the rules and understandable.
Would that line be real tight if it were Upshaw or Hightower last year? Or is the line tighter because they are down on the depth chart?

Come on, get off your high horse. We all know that Alabama finds some guys every year that have been around the program for a while, yet will be non-contributors. They help some kids find other schools to play out the remainder of their career, and some move on with thier degree. The ones that can't do what is asked of them are asked to move on. But prior to this year Alabama was 4th in the SEC in players signed over the past 5 years. Michaels Dyer was a repeat drug offender with a bad attitude, yet Auburn coaches tolerated him because they needed him. So, don't act like Alabama is the bad boy of the league and everyone else is squeaky clean. And for the UGA fan that whines about Bama oversigning, tell St. Richt to keep his footall team out of jail and maybe he can win something. UGA is an embarrassment on and even moreso off the feild.

when players graduate (instead of going to prison) & leave early for the NFL(instead of Arky State) it allows a school to resign more new prospects. ofcourse winning a NC more than just once in every 53 years or so also helps .
admit it ....mediocrity breeds delusion .
