Bama's Overated

  • Take Miles's choices away, LSU wins 30+ to teen something. You Bama fans can say and post all of the dumb shit you like. I am not even going to hold Lesticals to his sig bet on this one! When Bama cannot play D in a nickel set, they are average. Bama O against a team that can play base pass coverage is garbage! LSU exposed Saban football. The reign is over. From this day forward, Bama will not dominate. No national title this year tide.

Bama is exposed. LSU was out matched on paper. The funny thing is I do not feel like I am telling jokes, but you see humor. MIles made 4-5 bad choices, and Bama was only able to put together 3 nice drives. LSU dominated Bama's D. Mett looked like a Heisman, and AJ cried. The first nice squad Bama plays and they look less than average.

  • What I saw was LSU playing its best football all year, and Bama mounting a a comeback drive with 1:40 left in the game

In a place that is almost impossible to win, Im impressed

But not so much with AJ which is something I expected

I still think he is the best of the 3 under Saban from Bama, but the kid just isn't that good and without that OL he would be no better than 50% of the QB's in america

Bama however, is a very tough team to beat

Very impressed with them as usual, and I was very impressed with LSU too

Best game of the year so far

Texas A&M and Georgia can both beat them imo. I am not saying they will, but they can. Georgia is arguably better than LSU on defense, especially in the secondary. On offense, Georgia's doesnt have the power running game LSU does, but their quarterback and wide receivers are arguably better. A&M has a very good OL and a dynamic QB who is getting a lot better as a passer

LSU got beat at Night. Had the longest home winning streak in the country. They were coming off a bye week. Bama did get whipped most of the game. We won. We are still #1.

Agree, not impressed with AJ's performance as a whole. However, very impressed with the clutch drive at the end. He did what he had to do to pull it out. All you can ask for in tough physical game at the toughest stadium in CFB.

That was, by far, his worst performance since 1st LSU game last season. He had guys wide open all over the field.

The only team that can beat Bama wore Crimson and they almost won. Bama seemed flat all night...strange but it seems like every championship run has a game like this. Glad we pulled it out and never gave up.

UGA's D is not in LSU's league, and it's not arguable. I can agree with most of the rest although UGA is soft and lacks the killer instinct of an LSU which is what allows them to go toe to toe with us time and time again.

Yup, as you chomo's say he is a winner at the end of the day

And he does what he needs to do which isn't much

1- don't freak out in the pocket in crunch time cause 99% of the time nobody is gonna touch you for at least 5 seconds

2- throw a 5 yard dump pass to a playmaker and let him do the rest

EJ would have tripped, fumbled and fell down on that drives second play and FSU would have lost

  • Every thing you said is solid, but Miles's dumb choices made it a game. Bama got dominated, offensively and defensively. Bama's offense was the opening drive, the last drive of the first half, and the last drive of the game. In all three drives LSU was in a soft zone, big play prevent. LSU shut Bama down because they were able to play Bama in base defense. Bama's defense looks like shit when they are forced to play with 4 DBs.

In fairness, he made several great throws to be in position to throw a screen pass.

EJ is a helluva lot more mobile though. I was surprised AJ took off the the TD rush in the 1st half. He never looks to run, even though he has plenty of opportunities for a 3-4 yd rush.

Also sucked we were without our best WR for most of the game. Cooper would've helped quite a bit.
