thats not saying the Pacific was bad, it was a damn good show as well. But BOB was a gamechanger. It was truly epic

Hard to compare. BoB was about the group and The Pacific was about the individual. This made the Pacific a little darker and grittier.

I enjoyed BoB more but both were equally excellent in acting and production.

I always forget about BoB but yeah it probably is the greatest series of all times

I own both series on blu ray. Watch them at least once a year.

I have few things I do yearly, but that is one of them. Unfortunately, I then have to go look up who is still with us, and every year, it gets pretty depressing. That was truely the greatest generation.

Band of Brothers was amazing for sure and have seen it twice ( own it ) , have never seen Pacific though

BOB was like a soap opera, while The Pacific was about the real sh*t that was involved with war.

The japanese were beyond cruel in their treatment of POWs. My grandfather fought in the Pacific and had mental issues about the japanese until the day he died. He would just start talking about them out of the blue all the time LOL.
